The kitchen cabinets are placed symmetrically and made of Niemann Polymatt MDF boards painted in a warm shade of green, providing a soft yet vibrant touch to the space.

Located on the 22nd floor of a downtown high-rise, this sleek space had been untouched for years but now features state-of-the-art design elements and a layout that seamlessly blends functionality with style. The kitchen, with its clean lines and modern finishes, is poised to become the focal point of this refreshed urban retreat.

When David and Sara began their kitchen remodel, they struggled to find reliable contractors. That’s when they discovered Corner. Its team carefully listened to their needs, discussed their ideas, and committed to bringing their vision to life.

The cooktop is installed on the kitchen island, standing out beautifully against the white countertop material.

Selecting a kitchen design took some time. Sara explored Corner's website and was drawn to the Rebel Kitchen collection. David, however, was initially skeptical, believing a beige or gray kitchen would be more traditional.

“I fell in love with this design at first sight because of its soft feel,” Sara explained. “The kitchen color was very appealing and bright, so I started convincing David until he finally agreed.”

The Rebel Green kitchen was their choice, the contractor issue was out of the way, and preparations for the renovation began.

The Corner team handled the entire renovation process from start to finish and guided key design elements, including appliances, countertop material, sink, and faucet. David and Sara personally approved each choice, ensuring their full involvement in the renovation process.

The refrigerator is seamlessly integrated into the kitchen unit, rather than standing as a separate appliance.

A drinking water filtration system was installed along with the sink.

The Rebel kitchen design has been adapted to suit the premises by implementing significant changes. The first step was demolishing walls to connect the kitchen to the living room.

After expanding the room, only a small part of the wall separating the kitchen from the adjoining room remained. This section of the wall houses the communication system, so just one column was left intact. Soon after, the kitchen island was installed in the newly freed space.

The kitchen island with 6 wide full-depth drawers now serves as a boundary between the kitchen and the adjoining room. By replacing the wall with the island, the space feels wider and more open. The countertop is made of Dekton Aura, a material by Cosentino known for its durability and wide range of designs.

The two-level oven, integrated into the pantry, represents the pinnacle of modern minimalist design.

Hidden deep drawers with built-in organizers maximize the cabinet's capacity, providing an ideal storage solution.

The doors feature a push-to-open mechanism, complementing the minimalist design and making them easy to operate.

Painted MDF super matte for cabinet fronts was chosen because of its beneficial qualities, including anti-fingerprint and moisture resistance. Additionally, painted MDF provides the flexibility to choose any color, allowing us to explore a range of design possibilities.

The matte green, unique color from the NCS palette contrasts beautifully with the Dekton countertop. This mix of colors and finishes creates a balanced, harmonious design, which is exactly what the couple wanted to achieve.

"We wanted it to be more than just a kitchen. We wanted it to be a place where we could spend time together," David added. "So, we aimed for a design that not only looked nice but felt welcoming."

The sliding freezer door adds another modern touch to the overall design.

The upper cabinets, with their shelving, bring a touch of classic design, blending effortlessly with the modern minimalism of the overall kitchen.

Corner prioritizes functionality in every kitchen design, ensuring everything is in its place, easily found, and quickly accessible. So the team made sure that David and Sara's kitchen was rich in functionality. The kitchen cabinets are equipped with a variety of practical and convenient features, including pantry drawers, garbage bin pull-outs, hidden cutlery tray drawers, and a downdraft cooktop.

The drawer hardware is selected from the premium German brand Hettich with soft close, full extension, and seamless drawer construction elements. The drawers also feature a solid wood cutlery tray organizer with adjustable width.

The kitchen was designed with built-in appliances—a Fisher & Paykel refrigerator and a dishwasher, designed specifically to match the cabinetry—to keep it looking minimalist and clean. This concept makes the kitchen a piece of furniture that is seamlessly integrated into the apartment's overall design.

Under-cabinet LED lighting not only brightens the space but also adds warmth, making the kitchen feel cozy and inviting.

In this stylish and comfortable kitchen, even simple tasks like making coffee become a pleasure.

The final result was incredible and beyond expectations. The kitchen that Sara and David chose showcases modernity at its best and most comfortable. The design integrates classic elements, blending them seamlessly with the kitchen's overall modern aesthetic.

“We love cooking and living in this space; it's beautiful," David shared. "Every morning, when we make our coffee here, it feels like a great centerpiece for our family to gather around."

"From the very beginning, Corner was easy to work with," Sara added. "They took the time to talk with us, understand our needs, and how we planned to use the kitchen. They then designed the entire space with our needs in mind, and it turned out wonderfully."
